Machaut's Mass of Notre-Dame

Diabolus in Musica, an eight-voice ensemble directed by Antoine Guerber, specializes in French music of the 12th and 13th centuries. They have been recognized with accolades for renewing the interpretation of medieval music and for their recordings, including the Diapason d’Or and Choc du Monde de la Musique awards. Their San Diego performance offers a rare opportunity to hear the Messe de Nostre Dame of Machaut, including the accompanying Gregorian chant propers of a votive Marian mass.
