SUMMARY:Gli Incogniti
DESCRIPTION:Amandine Beyer\, violin and direction\n\n\n\nFalse Consonances of Melancholy: Music by Matteis and Purcell \n\n\n\n\n\nBuy Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImages (c) Óscar Vázquez\n\n\n\nIn a season full of audience favorites\, this is the debut we’ve long anticipated. Violinist extraordinaire Amandine Beyer and her ensemble Gli Incogniti—hailed across Europe and Asia—have been rarer guests in the United States. Their program explores the “bewitching and endlessly inventive” (Gramophone) music of Nicola Matteis\, as well as works by Henry Purcell. The performance promises to be “rich in spontaneity and a sense of exploration\, […] wonderfully addictive” (Gramophone). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGli Incogniti is supported by the DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine\, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Council\, and the Department of Gironde. With support from the Centre national de la musique (CNM). \n\n\n\nGli Incogniti est soutenu par la DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine\, la Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine et le département de la Gironde. Avec le soutien du Centre national de la musique (CNM).
