Attending Our Concerts
We present most of our Main Series concerts at St. James by-the-Sea set amid the coastal charm of La Jolla. Our Solo Series performances unfold within the warm acoustics of All Souls’ Episcopal Church in Point Loma and the Great Hall of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, just steps from beautiful Balboa Park.
All of our venues are ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. If you or a guest need additional assistance, accessible seating, or early entry, our staff and ushers are happy to help. Please let us know when purchasing tickets or upon arrival so we can ensure an enjoyable experience.

MAIN SERIES | St. James by-the-Sea
St James by-the-sea
Perched in the heart of the coastal village of La Jolla, St. James by-the-Sea blends sea-air serenity with architectural grace. Its nave, stained glass, and acoustics offer an inspiring setting for SDEMS concerts.
Parking: Please plan to arrive early as parking is limited. On concert evenings, street parking is often available on nearby residential streets. There are paid lots nearby on Prospect Street and Fay Avenue.
What to Wear: No dress code. We recommend comfortable clothing so you can relax and enjoy the music. Most concerts last 75 to 90 minutes, with a short intermission. Bring a warm layer if you plan to step outside during intermission. Because St. James is a historic church with wooden pews, we provide seat cushions at no cost near the entrance, but you’re also welcome to bring a blanket or seating pad for added comfort.
Our guest artists will often have their latest CDs for sale at the door. While we take credit cards, artists appreciate receiving cash payments. All sales go directly to the artists.

Located at the corner of Chatsworth and Catalina in the Point Loma neighborhood, All Souls’ Episcopal Church, with its stunning stained glass and exceptional acoustics provides an ideal setting for our Solo Series performances.

SOLO SERIES | Great Hall (St. Paul’s Cathedral)
Great Hall inside St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral
The Great Hall inside St. Paul’s Cathedral (in the Uptown area, near Balboa Park) is the perfect setting for Solo Series performances.
Parking: For Sunday concerts, parking around the church is free. The cathedral provides an underground garage with a limited number of spaces on Sunday as well; entrance is on Olive Street, between 5th & 6th Avenues. Pedestrian access to the garage is via elevators from the Dean’s Courtyard and the Administration Building lobby. Outside the garage, there is no on-site surface parking; the closest lots and street parking serve nearby blocks. For performances on days other than Sunday, please note that parking meters are enforced.
