Paul Carmona studied Classics, Sacred Music, and Religious Studies. He served as organist-choirmaster at churches in the US, Belgium, and Germany. He is Professor Emeritus at Cuyamaca Community College in El Cajon, CA, where he was chair of Humanities and Performing Arts, president of the Academic Senate, and Professional Development Coordinator at the college. Ordained in 2002 to the clergy of the Episcopal Church, he has worked in Latino and inner-city parish ministry in San Diego.
