Mark Edwards makes his San Diego debut with an all-Bach program that continues a thread running through this season: the young Bach, before he became an institution. Alongside the famous keyboard toccatas that are bold, free, and almost theatrical works that show Bach testing the limits of the form, Edwards includes lesser-known early keyboard pieces that reveal a composer still finding his voice.
