    Famous for performing directly from historical notation and around a single music stand as was customary during the Renaissance, Cappella Pratensis returns with a program centered on Dufay’s Missa Ecce ancilla Domine. This exquisite mass will be performed alongside the plainchant propers for the feast of the Annunciation and Marian motets by Dufay’s younger contemporary, Antoine Busnoys. Also featured is a dramatic chanting of the Gospel account of the Annunciation, fully aligned with the theatrical tradition of the Golden Mass.
