Board of Directors

Pamela Narbona Jerez was born in Santiago, Chile, and has lived in San Diego for over twenty years. She graduated with honors from San Diego State University with degrees in vocal performance and musicology. Pam joined the Board of Directors of the San Diego Early Music Society in 2017 and quickly established herself as the team’s editor, social media manager, and grant writer. She was elected President in 2020 and, under her leadership, the Society grew in scope and strengthened its internal operations. Pam is currently SDEMS’s Executive Director, overseeing the Society’s operations and development. Pam works in web accessibility and instructional design, and is a professional copy editor and translator. She’s also a professional singer and performs with various ensembles across San Diego, and in her spare time she volunteers as a legal and medical interpreter and translator for other nonprofits.
