Pamela Narbona Jerez
Executive Director
Pamela Narbona Jerez works in web accessibility and instructional design, and is a professional copyeditor and translator. Pamela was born in Santiago, Chile, and has lived in San Diego for over twenty years. She graduated with honors from San Diego State University with degrees in vocal performance and musicology. She served as president of the Society from 2020 to 2023, and is currently interim president and executive director, overseeing the Society’s operations and development. She has served on the board since 2017. In her spare time, she volunteers as a legal and medical interpreter and as a translator for other nonprofits, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Chico.
